The only Latin American graduate of the Postgraduate Guitar Chair of "The Juilliard School of Music" (New York). Luis Quintero was listed as a child prodigy at the age of 11 at the World Guitar Festival in Martinique, where he shared the stage with John Williams, Alirio Diaz, Leo Brouwer and other renowned guitarists and at the age of 14 debuted at Carnegie Hall in New York With the Soloists Orchestra of Venezuela.
